1982
With the renovations completed, South Bend Medical Foundation's new Central Blood Bank and Outpatient Laboratory service areas began operating from a new entrance located at 530 North Lafayette Blvd. Now in the Laboratory's 70th year, the Foundation not only had a new entrance, but offered more outpatient laboratory parking, as well.
1987
South Bend Medical Foundation became one of the first ten NIDA certified laboratories.
