Additional plans to expand were once again on the table when the decision to add a North wing was announced. The plans would more than double the existing floor space which would amount to 26,400 square feet. The new space made way for the new Blood Bank.

43 stockholders sold their shares to announce the not-for-profit South Bend Medical Foundation, Inc.
